Hi, I also love Gmail, but i have found it hard to use for high volume mailing lists. (yes lkml too)

Fortunatly I found gmame and their news server gateway for lkml. So now I use KNode, and it works great, and use my gmail as a return addres, so when i post something (rarely, I mostly lurk there) I get this conversation in my gmail for saving aswell.

I like gmail too because some of the features are annoying,
for instance it wont let u sort email, its says "search not sort'..
what if i want to sort!!

then it saves all the emails as "conversations", its good at times, but sometimes it gets confusing if u have lot of new emails as a reponse to same thread. U get the preview of only the latest one.
Gmail should make that feature optional and allow normal view of all the emails.

I use gmail because it allows pop forwarding where i do not have deal with these issues.

I dislike the Gmail Tags! I prefer having a clean Inbox and Tagging each of them and deleting from the inbox is really painstaking! I prefer the way Yahoo Mail neatly filters all mails into their respective folders and keeps my inbox squeaky-clean.

I really like Gmail but my only complaint is how Gmail handles html email rendering. Some email messages authored in html format don't display as the author intended.

Gmail is a great email service that has simplicity in mind.

I dont know why this could be a useful feature?
